When MBP was asked for last minute help with the supply of some internal doors for the BBC’s DIY SOS: The Big Build, we were only too happy to help. The life-changing home renovation programme was this time providing a much needed transformation to a family in Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire. MBP was asked to provide a total of 6 doors to the project – 4 fully glazed and 2 panel doors.
Peter Lord, Key Account Manager for MBP, attended the building site to oversee the installation of the doors. Of the experience Pete said, “MBP were approached by the BBC literally at the 11th hour, as they had overlooked the supply of the internal doors within the house. As we have a large stock of standard doors and our own glazing supply within our group, we were able to turn the doors around within a couple of days and get them to site just in the nick of time. Getting to meet the DIY SOS team of purple shirts was a fantastic experience, and we were really pleased to be able to help this noble cause.”
